1 YEAR!

My little boy is 1!  And he's still perfect.  He is such a sweet boy.  He's so good.  He's so happy.  He's so easy going.  He's a good eater, a good sleeper, a good traveler.  I love his laugh, and his gappy tooth smile.  Just after he turned one, he decided it was time to walk.  He loves his new cat, Rey.  He loves to go for rides in the car.  He loves loves loves music.  As soon as he hears any music, he starts bobbing his head.  He even jams to the hymns at church.  He loves to play catch.  He loves to climb stairs.  He loves to eat anything and everything, then say "num num num."  He loves his minky.  He loves his cousins.  And he loves his mom and dad.
He loved his birthday, and opening presents.  He had lots of help from his cousins.

'Tis the Season........
.....for rounding up cows, riding horses, lunch time, cards......

.....and of course "Dancing Queens."  Check out the crowd they've attracted.

Heston was enthraled with the performance.

Adison and Aspyn's big moment....Adison was NOT enthraled to be there.

The End!  Take a bow!!
(Can you see the "fluff" on the stage?  That is cat tail.  And just for your info, it sticks to everything, floats everywhere and is very messy, I'm sure we will be finding it in the house for years to come.)

Bath Time!
Hanging out with the big boys!

Time to weigh the calves with Aunt Michele.

Counting calves with Aunt Steph.

Close call for Dylan and Javen.  So grateful for seatbelts and for being watched over from up above!

This is how I found Heston during nap time.  Folded right in half.
Best buddies, Heston and Wyatt.

First Hair Cut

10 months old and he was ready for a hair cut.  Well, I was ready at least.  It was hanging over his ears and it was buggin'.

I was a little nervous because I didn't know what I was doing, so I watched a few Youtube videos and I was good to go. Heston did a pretty good job at sitting still and he didn't even freak out about the clippers.

And there you have it,  First hair cut!

Not perfect, but I was pretty proud of myself for doing all of my Youtube schooling and first hair cut in one day.

Yellowstone,Summer of 2012

The annual Holliday trip was to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole.  It was an awesome trip.  We caravaned with about 7 cars.  Heston, Grandma Joey and I drove up in G-ma Joey's car.  Trent and the other big boys rode their motorcycles up.  We stayed in little cabins in Jackson Hole.  We had 5 adults and 2 babies in our SMALL cabin. (Tate, Kali, Me, Trent, Malyn, Heston and Braddock).  We saw lots of beautiful country and lots of wild life.
Family picture by one of the many beautiful lakes in Yellowstone.

We drove through Yellowstone all day and ended at Old Faithful.

And there she is in all her glory!!

Me and the hubby with the Grand Tetons as a back drop.

Shopping in one of the many tourist trap stores, very fashionable if you ask me.
And another beautiful lake.

It was amazing, all the "activity" coming from the earth.  Hot pots, hot springs, geysers, volcanos, lakes, rivers, waterfalls.  This was a bubbling pool of mud.  Very cool and VERY smelly.  Heston was just happy to be there.
